Medical Laser and Intensive Pulse Light Hair Removal

Medical Laser and Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) are the treatments of choice for men and women wanting a safe and effective method of removing unwanted hair.

Hair growth is reduced and removed by using controlled light impulses, known as photo depilation. Light energy, which is absorbed by the hair pigment, heats the follicle and destroys it without damaging the surrounding tissue. The number of sessions per course of treatment is determined by hair and skin type.

The high energy levels of our lasers and IPLs minimise the number of sessions required; a course of 6-12 treatments is, therefore, highly cost-effective.

Red Veins

Medical Laser and IPL can be used to remove both fine and large thread veins on the face, body and legs. This is a non-invasive treatment that will remove the veins quickly and effectively. The laser beam penetrates the target vessel and its energy heats up and coagulates the blood inside the vessel. Unsupported, the vessel wall collapses, seals and dissolves, leaving the skin blemish free. Typically a course of 1-3 treatments will be required.

Photo Rejuvenation

This is a safe way to target pigmentation issues, acne management and collagen regeneration, plus  line, wrinkle and pore-size reduction.  A course of six sessions is recommended for this advanced treatment.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a hereditary, skin disorder that most often affects the nose, forehead, cheekbones, and chin. This common disorder causes subtle redness in the skin, and if left untreated, it may become inflamed and develop eruptions. Further, the skin tissue can swell, thicken and become tender and sensitive to the touch.  Although Rosacea is a condition that is not 'curable', medical lasers can be very effective in treating the facial veins, generalized redness and flushing associated with it.
