Laser is the treatment choice of men and women wanting a safe and effective method of removing unwanted hair. Hair growth is reduced and removed by a series of treatments using controlled light impulses (IPL) on the area which is known as photo depilation. The light is absorbed by the hair pigment and travels to heat the follicle and destroy it without damage to the surrounding tissue, the number of treatments required depends upon the hair and skin type. The high energy levels of our lasers reduce the number of treatments required, so it is more cost effective compared to extended treatments that are required by lower energy lasers. A course of 8-12 treatments is recommended.
